Contrôle technique

For me, making an exhibition is the highlight of all the previous work created “secretly” in the workshop. It is the opportunity to show the whole creative process, many months of artistic introspection and share it with the viewer. In this case, in Madrid, which is the city where I trained and grew as an artist. Therefore, this new exhibition with Delimbo is for me a “contrôle technique” which means to pass the roadworthiness test in french.

Also, controlling the technique has a lot to do with my personal line of work. In all my facets as an artist, I try to find and play with the material. That’s why I always combine different techniques, which makes me working with cement, taking my drawings to the seam, molding sculptures with ceramics or painting in a wilder way the landscapes that surround me. With this I want to show the importance of the game, the enjoyment and the dynamism in my art.
