le dédale 3: The big picture

For the last piece for ‘Le Dédale’ I decided to use the cement technique differently. with the precious help of the main man Bernard (AKA Nanar) we made 9 mix of tinted cement and, step by step, started to assemble the puzzle. This is a modern interpretation of a rennaissance wall that has recently been discovered in the Chateau of Belvès. I kept the main composition but added the selfie factor to desecrate the whole scene and highlight the fact that nowadays, people (especially politics or men of power), usually worrie more about their appearance on the main picture rather than looking around and understanding what’s really going on.
